POTASSIUM CITRATE MIXTURE BP is used in alkalinisation of urine and in the relief of discomfort in mild Urinary Tract Infections.
Directions
Cystitis:
Adults and children over 6 years : two teaspoonfuls (10mL) 3 times daily
Children 1-6 years : one teaspoonful (5mL) 3 times daily
Alkalinisation of urine : two to four teaspoonfuls (10mL to 20mL) every 6 hours
IMPORTANT:
The mixture should be well diluted with water before use.

Alkalinisation of urine and relief of discomfort in mild urinary tract infections
Precautions
Renal impairment, cardiac disease and the elderly.
Storage
Store at or below 30 degree C.
Keep out of reach of children.
